• Modern wood stoves are often called Air Tight Stoves, which means exactly that they function best as an airtight system.
• When the door is loose fitting and draws air around its outside it is no longer airtight and wastes a lot of fuel and gives less heat.

• Typical cost for a door seal kit at your local hardware store is under $80 and includes the adhesive,
• there are several sizes of seals available, be sure to get the proper size.

We can also replace the main door seals for you, we charge the service call plus materials. Contact us for pricing in your area. The seals around the ceramic door glass are different sizes and not as readily available in hardware stores.

Ceramic Door glass is cut to size by most glass shops. it is quite expensive with a typical small stove ceramic glass often costing well over $200 for the materials.
